Travel Health is a dynamic area of medicine that requires thorough understanding of and access to the most up to date recommendations specific to your unique travel destination and itinerary. It is also not covered by Medicare as an insured health service. Travel assessments are best done by persons certified in travel health medicine. For this reason, the providers at Kinlock Medical Home would recommend a consult with such experts in advance of your travel.

When you have completed your travel health consultation and been provided with recommendations (e.g. immunizations, Traveler’s Diarrhea management, malaria prophylaxis, etc.), the team at Kinlock Medical Home can facilitate your access to the recommended prescriptions if needed. This may require an appointment.
